Moments by McKnight was started in 2002 after the birth of my first child & I began thinking about a career change. I needed something that would allow me to utilize my past experience in the hospitality industry and use my creative abilities more effectively. My diplomas come from 3 years of schooling for Wedding Coordination and Event Planning along with additional apprenticeships at Canada Place, Hotel Vancouver & B.C. Place. I have over 17 years experience in retail, hotel, and management along with a list of hobbies that add to my creative skills. Moments by Mcknight has great attention to detail, service with a smile and most of all the desire to make your event day all that you imagine. We are happy to offer custom made pieces to accent your wedding instead of having to outsource other vendors. Well, we're no florist but we'll sure try it out. (:We spent the good part of an afternoon the Bride & I searching for all the pieces and embelishments, ribbons and goodies. I came home with all the supplies and dove right in, before I knew it I had one beautiful bouquet finished and was so proud of myself. I completed 16 pieces more & I enjoyed it so much that I decided that this was one avenue I would like to travel down again. On the wedding day I took a deep breath & presented everything to a VERY happy Bride, she was pleased with every single piece i had done .....I could breath again.So we're going to build up our portfolio, take some floral classes, invest in some great books & and add it to our menu of services.
